Brow Lift

A rejuvenated look above the eyes

A forehead (or brow) lift is one of our more popular aesthetic surgeries, generally done for patients who want to remove signs of facial aging. This simple procedure can correct drooping eyebrows, and lessen horizontal lines in the forehead, resulting in smoother skin and a more youthful look. Our board-certified physicians work closely with you to address your aesthetic goals, to deliver you natural-looking results. Love your look!

How is the brow lift surgery done?
The brow lift surgery is made with a small incision a few centimeters behind the hairline. The skin of the forehead is then separated from the scalp and excess tissue is redistributed upwards or removed to smooth out unwanted furrows and deep forehead lines. This is an outpatient surgery, completed within a couple of hours under local anesthesia. Additionally, this surgery can be done in conjunction with other surgeries such as hair transplants, fat transfers, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), or a face lift for excellent complementary results.

Who is a candidate for a browlift procedure?
The brow lift surgery can be done on patients of any age who show signs of skin loosening or horizontal lines on the forehead. It is usually performed on patients 40 years old or older.

What is the recovery from browlift?
Following your brow lift procedure, you will need to maintain the surgical sites as with many other surgeries, to keep the wounds clean and free of infection. The wounds should heal in about two weeks, and you can return to your regular activities in about the same time frame. Our helpful office staff will provide you with all instructions needed for your full recovery.
